How to spread the word on Facebook?
My side project is a website which shows the lowest price for the Nintendo switch. It updates each day and in the next months I want to add little retail stores which don't have a web page (so I can't scrape them)
I have a Facebook page with 30 followers and I want to spread the word, get more followers and let people know my page.
As my page is about the price of the Nintendo Switch, what kind of content can I publish on the Facebook page / blog? Any advice on getting organic followers?

@zeui, if you want to stick to strictly organic, first attract followers by becoming an authority in the space you're trying to enter (presumably gaming). Do this by sharing articles about new Nintendo Switch games coming out. Sharing gaming videos also usually perform really well.
Feel free to sprinkle your price updates in the mix with these other posts.
Essentially you're trying to make your page(s) THE place to go to get updates about Nintendo Switch. Once you have a following, you can focus more heavily on promoting your own content.

Using a tool that can find trending articles and share them on social media for you would be a good place to start.

Do you want Facebook followers or customers? Even if you get followers, you will have to pay Facebook to reach them with your posts.

But, when starting out, having some follower count (even if they are not customers) is a good way to add social proof to your page/project.
Hi @zeui, Rich Clominson, co-founder of failory.com here! Getting your first Facebook followers is definitely not easy.
I would, at the beginning, ask my friends and family. With a few likes, you make the new-comers think that your FB page is not just spammy.
I would then continuously post new updates and curate some content about Nintendo Switch. But there is a huge problem with today's Facebook: Your posts don't reach your followers if you don't promote them and pay some $$.
Facebook ADS, as mentioned by @JulianSamarjiev, is another strategy to get Facebook followers. They usually have a great ROI.
Right now I cant think of any other strategy to marketing your FB page. Will come and comment again if I come accross any new strategy ;)

This may is a controverse answer, but the most cost effective way to gather a following surely is spamming. Search related groups, join, spam or even spam under comments of related pages.
Paying for page likes seems like a waste but if you post on the page you still have to pay to have every user of the page actually see it.
Facebook is not what it was anymore for ads...
I'm trying to avoid being too spammy, posting my site's on facebook pages where people should think my site is a good idea.
