How to start a SaaS company?

So, you've got this killer software idea, right? It's something that's going to revolutionize industries, break the internet, or maybe just make someone's day a tad bit easier. Good! Welcome to the exhilarating (and slightly overwhelming) world of SaaS.

Starting a SaaS company feels like parachuting for the first time. Heart pounding. Mind racing. "Did I pack the parachute right?!" But fear not, here's your 3-step cheat sheet:

1. Vision & Validation:

Before you splurge your life savings, validate the idea. Run surveys, ask potential users, and maybe even roll out a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). It's like dipping your toes to check the water temperature.

2. Business Model & Strategy:

Decide on a pricing model. Freemium? Subscription-based? One-time? Your revenue strategy should align with your growth plans. Remember, a SaaS model isn't about the quick buck, it's about consistent growth.

3. Choose the Right Partners:

The technical bit. Before anything, you need a robust platform. Here's where selecting the right SaaS development company comes into play. Trustworthy? Skilled? Affordable? How to choose a SaaS development company gives you the lowdown.

And here's a parting thought: It's not the software in SaaS that's the game-changer. It's the service. Always be customer-centric.🚀

Cool, I wrote a whole book about this called "From Code to Recurring Profit", for Devs but cool for any SaaS Founder really, lot of good examples from successful SaaS how they handled support, pricing, etc. I learned a ton while researching to write the book, one of the bit takeaways was the story of Clickup and their usage of Canny for customer feature voting / suggestions, was a game changer for them.
I implemented that in my SaaS and has been a game changer, we recovered churned clients because they saw the features we had just launched and the ones planned. :)

    Thanks for sharing. Amazing insights.
Also, I need to share my opinion on this which is nowadays it is very important to have a proper network while launching your SaaS. You have a good product but it's just not the right place sometimes.
