How to turn your side project into an actual company

Hello. Perhaps this is an obvious question to some people but I can use some help in getting started. I have a side project that's a web app that I hope will become my full-time job someday.

Does anyone have helpful resources on, how to start a technology company? What are the steps you need to take? What services do you use to pay employees? I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed because this is all uncharted territory and I don't personally know anyone who has experience in these areas.
