How to use AppSumo Launch to boost your business with social proof

As a micro SAAS business owner, it's important to establish trust and credibility with potential customers. One way to do this is by using social proof – the idea that people are more likely to trust a product or service if other people have had positive experiences with it.

One platform that can help businesses collect social proof is AppSumo Launch. This platform allows businesses to launch new products and services and collect customer reviews. These reviews can then be used to improve the credibility and trustworthiness of a business.

Here are some ways that businesses can use AppSumo Launch to boost their business with social proof:

  1. Use customer reviews on your website

One of the easiest ways to use customer reviews from AppSumo Launch is by showcasing them on your website. This can be done by creating a dedicated "testimonials" section on your website, or by displaying customer reviews on individual product pages.

By showcasing customer reviews on your website, you can provide potential customers with valuable information about your products or services and give them the confidence to make a purchase.

The easiest way to extract appsumo reviews and display them as beautiful widgets on your site is by using an app like socialprf.io

  1. Use customer reviews in your marketing materials

In addition to using customer reviews on your website, you can also incorporate them into your marketing materials. For example, you can use customer reviews in emails, social media posts, and other forms of communication with potential customers.

Incorporating customer reviews into your marketing materials can help to improve the credibility and trustworthiness of your business and make your marketing messages more persuasive.

Using a tool like Socialprf.io you can easily create images from your testimonials and use them for your marketing needs!

  1. Use customer feedback to improve your products and services

In addition to using customer reviews for social proof, you can also use the feedback and reviews collected on AppSumo Launch to improve your products and services. By listening to what customers have to say and incorporating their feedback, you can make your products and services even better.

For example, if customers are mentioning a particular issue with one of your products, you can use that feedback to make improvements and provide a better customer experience.

But how can you easily ask your customers to leave a review or provide feedback? Again, Socialprf.io provides one of the best ways to request for reviews from your users. You can create a unique landing page for a customer with a request video and message asking users to leave feedback.

In conclusion, using AppSumo Launch to collect customer reviews can be a valuable tool for businesses looking to improve their credibility, increase conversions, and improve their products and services. By using customer reviews as social proof, businesses can establish trust and credibility with potential customers and improve their chances of success.

Our Appsumo launch for ruttl brought in great numbers for us, be it in the terms of reviews generated, users acquired, or revenue gained. But more importantly, our team got to experience a lot of new things and how to deal with them all.

It was a first for many in our team when it came to managing an event on such a large scale. So we learned a lot and you're right it's a great way to build credibility for your tool.

Harsh, If you don't mind sharing your learnings, It would be really helpful for the community, especially from someone who experienced practicality and technicality 👋

We are building a full stack framework (testing phase)
We're planning to launch it on Product Hunt, App Sumo and Indie hackers.
We know that Product hunt can help us generate very good awareness for our product. Do you think that App sumo and Indie hacker is also a great platform to create some buzz for our product?
also what other platforms do you recommend to launch a new product?

    1. 1

Launching on Appsumo is tricky business and as you would be offering a lifetime deal there. Getting a lot of life time deal holders would cost the business in the long run. But these early adopters from appsumo could give a ton of valuable feedback helping to improve the product. So for a new product it makes a lot of sense to launch in appsumo as long as you don't take on too many LTD customers.

Can you use appsumo reviews on your landing page as testimonial without consent from the reviewer?

    1. 1

User consent is very important. Which is why it is better to use a testimonial collection service where you can get user consent and redirect users to appsumo for submitting reviews. Once reviews are submitted in appsumo, you can easily import and display them on your website.
