How to validate an email newsletter idea?

I’ve got a tonne of email newsletter ideas and it seems a lot of people are finding success just by choosing a popular niche or topic and turning it into a regular newsletter.

I’m struggling to figure out the following:

  1. What’s a quick and effective way to validate demand/interest in a newsletter?
  2. What are some ways to stand out from the crowd? (I feel like there’s been a flood of new newsletters recently)
  3. How to come up with valuable newsletter ideas to begin with

Thanks!

Starting a blog may be too involved to test demand but I've seen a lot of people market and then launch after some Twitter posts.

Potentially. Maybe paying for a small advertisement on an existing blog in the niche/topic could be a shortcut around starting the blog from scratch
