How to validate your SaaS product idea?

My colleague recently put together a big guide on SaaS development, and, as for me, idea validation and prioritizing features for an MVP is the hardest part.
Nobody wants to invest in something that doesn't have a chance for success. So I want to share some tools you can use to validate your SaaS idea:

Market research. Don't hesitate to look at relevant statistics (Google Trends, Statista, etc.) to see if there is demand for your product. People usually try to get feedback from potential users right away, but you should check this yourself first.

Once you see demand, it’s time to talk to potential users to better understand their needs and the features they’re missing in existing solutions. You can use Google Forms with key questions and post it on Reddit, LinkedIn, or IndieHackers to get feedback.

Prototyping. It's not so hard today to prepare a prototype using Figma, Sketch, or some AI tools. Visualize your idea to make it clearer for all stakeholders.
