How to value your company for investment? How much equity did you give up for investment?
So I have a few investors interested and we do need to take some money - but I have heard varying degrees in what % to give away for amount of $$.
I'd love to hear offers you've had, taken, rejected and why and your thoughts on how much $$ for what % !
Also how did you arrive at a company valuation figure?

Without knowing anything about your business, your area of operation, or what kind of investors you're courting I would still recommend reading Feld and Mendelson's "Venture Deals".
From my own adventures, I would expect to give up 15-20% per round, but, again, not knowing the stage of your company, what your WIP pipeline looks like, and what kind of round you're pursuing, YMMV.
