Do your sales emails often go unanswered? I’ve been there. Emailing is 40 times more effective for securing new sales than Facebook and Twitter combined. So you probably want to leverage your email as best as you can.
Here is a short guide to writing sales emails that convert. 💰
👉🏽 A GREAT HEADLINE/SUBJECT LINE
A great headline is the best way to grab your client's attention. For a long time, I found it hard to craft good headlines until I stumbled upon this formula:
R.O.T
R. - Results
O - Objections
T - Time
Here’s an example of R.O.T in action.
R - Launch a successful makeup line
O - Don't have experience marketing makeup
T - In 1 week
➡️ Let's play that
Launch a successful makeup line without marketing experience in just 1 week.
➡️ You can switch up the order too.
Launch a successful makeup line in one week without the marketing experience.
👉🏽 INTENTIONAL BODY
For a well-crafted sales email, I recommend using this formula: A.I.D.A
Attention - Grab your client’s attention with a question, headline, or fact.
Interest - Interest your potential customer with some information about your product.
Desire - Make your client desire what you are selling them by outlining how they benefit from it. Remember that benefits outweigh features.
Action - This is where you give actionable steps like “ Buy now” or “ Click on the link to SUBSCRIBE.
👉🏽 A FEW POINTERS
Write as you talk, throw out the academic-sounding tone. It’s okay to be fun and relaxed in your email writing.
Throw in some social proof. Try linking to some press features, testimonials, or brands you have sold to or worked with. This converts skeptics to willing buyers.
Give this a try and tell me how it goes? I would love to know how it works for you.
