How We Helped 36 Startups Generate 14.6K Product Views with Our First 100 Members.

Six months ago, Founders Today was just an idea.

Today, we've grown into a community of 100+ active founders and have helped launch 36 startups.

Together, those launches have generated 14,600+ product impressions, with some products already starting to rank on Google through their launch pages.

That may not sound huge compared to the big platforms, but every community starts somewhere. What matters is that we're growing, improving, and staying focused on one thing:

Helping founders get discovered.

We believe most communities have the order backwards.

At Founders Today, our priorities are:

🥇 Visibility first: Every feature is designed to help your startup reach more people, from product launches to SEO, discussions, and founder discovery.

🥈 Authority second: We're building a place where founders can establish credibility by consistently shipping, contributing, and building in public.

When you join, you're not just creating another profile.

You get access to:

🚀 Weekly product launches
💬 Founder discussions
📅 Community events
💼 Startup jobs
📈 An SEO toolkit
🤝 A growing network of builders shipping real products
If you're an indie hacker, solo founder, or startup builder, I'd love for you to give it a try. We are inviting you

It takes less than 2 minutes to join, and it's completely free.

We're still early, and that's exactly why your feedback can help shape what becomes one of the best communities for founders.

See you inside. 👋

Nice early wedge. The metric I would separate hard is product views vs qualified actions: clicks to site, waitlist joins, demos booked, founder follow-ups. If you can show even a few launches where Founders Today produced the first real conversations, that is much stronger than impressions.

The "visibility first, authority second" framing is a clean way to describe the community, and 36 launches in six months is real traction for something that started as an idea. Credit for shipping it. But there's a positioning problem worth naming honestly, because it's the thing that'll cap growth.

14.6K impressions across 36 startups is about 400 views per launch. For a founder deciding where to launch, that number competes against Product Hunt, BetaList, IH itself, and a dozen other places, and 400 views is below what most of those deliver. So leading with the aggregate number invites a comparison you don't win yet. The honest early-stage move isn't to make the number sound bigger, it's to compete on something other than raw reach, because reach is exactly where you're smallest.

Where a young community actually beats the big platforms: on Product Hunt you're one of 50 launches drowning in a feed, and nobody remembers you the next day. A small community can offer what scale can't, actual humans who engage with your launch, remember your product, and are still there next week. "400 real founders who'll actually look and comment" beats "10,000 impressions that scroll past." That's your wedge, and it's the opposite of the impressions framing.

The deeper issue: your feature list (launches, discussions, events, jobs, SEO toolkit, network) is six things, which is what every community lists, and "does everything" reads as "does nothing in particular." The communities that win early are unmissably the best at one thing. What's the ONE reason a founder picks Founders Today over Product Hunt this week? If it's "the launches actually get seen by real people who respond," build the whole pitch around that and cut the rest.

What's the single outcome a founder gets here they can't get on the big platforms? That's your positioning, not the feature list.

The interesting challenge with founder communities is that visibility is valuable only when founders believe the audience is the right audience.

What signal would convince you that Founders Today is becoming a distribution channel, rather than just another place founders announce launches?
