How We Launched a Web3 Platform with $0 Marketing Budget (1500+ Users in 3 weeks)

Hey Indie Hackers 👋

I’m Raza Rizvi, founder of Lumos Core — a Web3 infrastructure platform that just went live on the Stellar network. In our first few weeks, we’ve:

  • Gained 1500+ users
  • Had 45 tokens minted
  • Passed $10,000+ in trading volume

And we did all of this with $0 in paid marketing. No ads. No influencers. Just focused execution and community power.
Here’s how we pulled it off 👇

1. Solving a Real Problem: Web3 Fragmentation

Web3 is still a mess for builders.
You need one platform to mint a token, another to launch it, a third for trading, and then patch together DAOs, NFTs, and analytics from scratch. None of it works well together — and it's even worse across different chains.

Lumos Core is our answer to that.

We’re building an all-in-one platform where you can:

  • Mint a token
  • Launch it on a marketplace
  • Trade it instantly
  • Set up governance & utilities
... all from a single, smooth dashboard.

And it’s not limited to Stellar — we’re building it multichain from day one, with support for networks like XRP, Hedera, VeChain, Algorand, and more in the pipeline.

2. Why We Started with Stellar

Most projects launch on Ethereum or Solana — which are great, but also extremely crowded and expensive.

Stellar offered something different:

  • Fast and cheap transactions
  • An open playing field for creators
  • A community hungry for new use cases

This gave us the perfect launchpad to stand out and grow without noise.

3. Community Power on X.com

Instead of running ads or chasing influencers, we doubled down on community-driven traffic via X.com.

We already had a loyal following from our early LumosDAO days. We started posting updates, memes, token highlights, and behind-the-scenes progress — and it worked.

Most of our 1500+ users came directly from that organic engagement. No ad budget, just consistent value and curiosity.

4. Focus on Creators, Not VCs

While most Web3 startups rush to raise, we took a different route:
Focus on indie creators — the ones launching meme coins, experimenting with utility, or building small communities.

  • We helped them mint.
  • We answered their DMs.
  • We even added liquidity for some.

And when you support creators early, they stick around — and they bring others with them.

5. Make It Stupidly Simple

No one wants to jump through hoops just to launch a token.

So we built Lumos Core to be:
✅ Fast (mint in under 2 mins)
✅ Affordable ($25 flat fee)
✅ Fully on-chain
✅ No-code, clean UI

The easier it is, the more people actually use it — and share it.

🌍 The Bigger Vision: One Platform, Many Chains
Lumos Core isn’t just about Stellar.
We’re building a multichain Web3 hub where projects can launch and scale across ecosystems without fragmentation.

Imagine one dashboard where your token works on Stellar, XRP, VeChain, and more — with tools that just work together.

We’re not there yet, but that’s the direction.

💡 Final Thought

You don’t need millions to build something useful.

You just need:

  • A real pain point
  • A supportive niche
  • A product that doesn’t suck
  • And a community that believes in it

That’s what got us to 1500+ users — and we’re just getting started.
