      Yes. Erlang and OTP played a huge part in how they managed to scale to a hundred millions of users with just a couple of engineers. Even at the time of acquisition, they were less than 30 total people in the company.

      Their example (as well as Facebook's early success with a similar tech stack for their messaging) both piqued my interest in Erlang and now Elixir.

      So fascinating too how Brian was rejected by FB only to be acquired by them a few years later. Crazy!
