How/Where to Sell Plant Images for Presentations?
I had an idea last night, and I decided to commercialize it. I often use plant photos in my presentations, and those who see them say that it is very elegant and minimal, but finding these kind of images is a little difficult, there are a few on free stock sites and not relevant/complete enough to fulfill the entire presentation.
So, I decided to photograph these myself, as I'm already a photographer, all I'm missing was plants:) In the morning I've visited Ikea, I've purchased as many minimal plants as I could find, most of them are artificial flowers, but I was sure that they're going to create beautiful photos. When I came home, it was like this:

And then I went into shooting mode, realizing that I didn't have something so big to create a white background, that I had to use the elements like sheets, doors, walls in the house, even though it was disastrous, it took about five hours shooting and image processing, here is the process:

Now I have a series of 70 plants photos, I think that I can sell them to people like me, but can't be sure of where I should place them. I've also created a Google Slides template for the showcase:

What a wonderful idea! I dunno if you could monetize it (for sure a bit yes).

You could try not selling directly the photos but templates instead, like you did with Google Slides. You could provide a Powerpoint/Slides template, an Illustrator file with artboards of different sizes (social network profile header, Twitter post, etc like Canva did), maybe an HTML landing page, etc.
It could be sold as a "branding" toolkit or something like this :)
One thing you could try is to create an actual landing page for your product. Show various ways you can use these images (maybe beyond presentation). Then brand all of this under one name.
To promote: Add a bunch of these images next to products like cups, macbooks, phones --- all the popular pictures people search for. Then slap your brand on them (use mockup tools that will add your logo (hopefully searchable) to the product.
Then list these photos on Unsplash.
People will start using your photos in their sites and your brand will start growing naturally.
I don't know how long it will take or if this will turn into sales, but I have read stories of brands marketing themselves via Unsplash. Worth a look, or at least researching a bit.
