I totally agree about those pillars of Autonomy, Integration, and Ethics but I want to expand on them a bit.
Autonomy: We still have a long way to go. If you've experimented with agents then you know they are far off the mark. I think the way we bridge that gap is by making them less general. AutoGPT and BabyAGI tried to keep with the generalized nature of our foundational models like ChatGPT. I think the way we actually see results from these is to leverage their autonomy to solve more specific problems. Craft the prompts, tooling, and agency around the more specific task we're trying to solve.

Integration: Not only are we going to see an integration of AI into more and more products but we're going to see more and more AI startups applying themselves vertically rather than just horizontally. So many AI tools today provide a solution for almost everyone. We're going to see more and more apply AI concepts to a vertical and we'll also see integration that way.
As for Ethics, we're going to hear more and more about it. The ability for AI to shape the US election is unparalleled and there are significant ethical dilemmas in doing so. You can bet that leading up to and after the US presidential election, you'll hear a lot more about ethical AI. I believe this will be the catalyst for significant AI ethic reform.
