How would I achieve sponsorship like an Athlete for an Open Source PhD Student.
Hello All,
So my story is pretty simple but my goal was that maybe through github I would be able to receive sponsorship for my PhD. Now I was able to get some initial sponsorship but nothing too fruitful. I'm wondering what can I do to advertise perhaps a new way of producing data through graduate students that can be supported by the community and not academia.
Does this make some sense? Could you be financially independent? What do y'all think?
