How would you find early adopters for an app to manage private identities

Thanks to other IHers, I was able to refine the copy on the landing page of Personalli.com - an app to help privacy minded individuals to manage their public and private identities.

Now onto the next step - how would you go about finding early adopters for such an app?

Thanks!

My learnings so far (to benefit other IHers) -

  • Having a good copy matters, not only to have first time visitors quickly get an idea, but for you to be clear in your head
  • Try the Ideas & Validation group on IH - people will provide valuable f/b
  • There are several reddit subs that can come in handy too
  • Talk to some of your friends - friends who can give objective advice

    Hi Kejal,

Looks interesting. I spent few minutes on your website. Is it a privacy focused professional network? I feel you should get the Youtube video to the hero section.

Early adopters has to come from the users who are using privacy focused tools like DuckDuckGo, Firefox, Signal. etc. You can also try subreddits focused on this.

hey @wilsonbright - many thanks for taking the time out. I'll act on your feedback.

Indeed Personalli is for privacy minded professionals, but I've also got feedback from friends that this could be helpful for celebrities, escort services (!), daters, etc. I need to find that initial segment that would enjoy this service and find it valuable.
