Last week, @amyhoy and I launched our first big collab in a while since she was super sick for the last few years.
And it's been going well! We have more than 1000 people signed up since Friday. People seem to love it.
But we're struggling to come up with new ideas for getting this in front of new people who don't already know about us. How would you do it?
Well, I mean, there IS the Stacking The Bricks approach...
In addition to that, I share this article all the time https://sparktoro.com/blog/who-will-amplify-this-and-why/
I return to it regularly to get on a path to a good strategy when I'm feeling a bit at a loss.
Of course, we're running the STB playbook. It's tried and true!
We're just also looking for stuff that might be a good fit (like that Sparktoro post) that isn't in our wheelhouse but does build on our advantages. So thank you for that, I'll check it out!
❤️ Just in case: my STB comment was intended to be collegial and funny (not snarky). I love STB!
Of course, that's how I read it! 💛 Thank you.
Congratulations on the successful launch of your collaboration with @amyhoy! It's great to hear that you've already had a strong response from your existing audience. As for getting your collaboration in front of new people, there are several strategies you could consider.
First, you could try leveraging social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn to promote your collaboration and reach new audiences. Consider running paid social media ads or partnering with influencers to help spread the word.
Another option is to explore content marketing by creating blog posts, videos, or other types of content that promote your collaboration and provide value to your target audience. You could also consider guest posting on other websites or collaborating with other creators in your niche to expand your reach.
Finally, you could try traditional PR tactics like reaching out to journalists, bloggers, or podcasters who cover your industry to see if they would be interested in featuring your collaboration.
Overall, the key is to identify where your target audience is spending their time and to use a mix of tactics to reach them where they are. Good luck!

Thanks, but I have an honest question - did you use ChatGPT or similar to write this response? It looks weirdly templated and almost identically vague like the other AI generated comment below.
Congratulations Alan! What do you think of cold outreach on Twitter and LinkedIn? I have done it for a startup recently without making it spammy at all and helped the guy generate 1000s of signups. I also think that creating a newsletter around your 15-page free ebook would be a very effective strategy in the long term.
What specifically did you do with the cold outreach?
Asking an open-ended question about the core problem that the product was solving using an outreach tool. Then manually took forward the conversation and pitched the product if we found a fit.
Can you share an example of the kinds of questions that landed valuable responses?
So it was a knowledge management tool, and we tried multiple variations of scripts. Asking something as simple as what strategies they use to tackle information overload, etc. worked very positively.
