Hey IH,
I’m Julien, founder of Linkeme.ai, a SaaS that automates social media content for businesses. We’ve built the whole thing using vibe coding + AI agents (yes, no traditional devs!), and it’s been working well so far… but mostly locally.
We’re based in Luxembourg and our current clients were onboarded via manual outreach, local referrals, and events. That’s great, but now I want to scale online — and that’s where I’m stuck.
I’m planning a Product Hunt launch soon, but I want to be sure I have a strong base before that. Right now:
My traffic is low
SEO is improving but still weak
We have social proof, but it’s mostly local
I don’t want to waste a PH launch with a weak funnel
So here’s my ask:
👉 What would you do if you had a solid SaaS, a working product, and 10+ happy clients — but no online growth yet?
Growth hacking, cold outreach, community playbooks, newsletter partnerships — I’m open to anything that can help generate early international traction before going big.
Thanks in advance 🙌
The first step in growing a local SaaS into a global one is to optimize your product for scalability so that it can support international users. Consider language, regulations, and cultural differences when creating localized versions of your platform for different regions. Utilize digital platforms to reach diverse markets through global marketing strategies. To gain credibility and expand reach, build partnerships with international distributors or influencers.
Thanks so much — I really appreciate the thoughtful input!
I’m based in Luxembourg, where over 70% of the population is non-native. So by default, we build everything in a multicultural, multilingual mindset — Linkeme is already available in multiple languages and designed to adapt across markets.
As for scalability: the product is rock solid. We built the infra on AWS with serverless Lambda architecture, and had an AWS solution architect help us shape the architecture. We’ve already done load testing and it can handle tens of thousands of users without issue.
What I’m really looking for now is tactical guidance — especially growth hacks that work on a lean budget. I don’t have a big marketing war chest, so:
What platforms should I prioritize?
Any influencers or communities worth contacting?
Is there a place or tactic I might be overlooking for free or organic traction?
Open to anything scrappy, clever, or underrated — just want to get more visibility online before the PH launch. Thanks again! 🙌
Problem with influencers is they wont move a finger if you are not offering big chunk of money to them.
trust me I built a platform which allows them to monetise their audience much better and also give the audience really cool tool.
but not a single one replied without asking 2-3k for a reel (single reel) which is seen and most of the users swipe away.
my advice is do not waste time with influencers - maybe reach out to 10-20 and stop there to have a sense of their pricing if they even reply.
Thanks for the insight — I totally get your frustration. But I’m actually curious: how did you find those influencers?Through an agency, scraping platforms like Heepsy or Modash, or manually?
We’ve had quite a few positive signals on our side, especially when targeting niche B2B influencers or creators with a small but highly engaged audience. Some are genuinely interested in testing new tools, especially if it aligns with their content and brings value to their community.
Would love to know more about your process — maybe we can compare approaches.
The entire site is concentrated with high-quality landing pages!
thanks
If I were managing a $10k budget for an indie SaaS, here’s how I’d think about it:
🔸 $3,000 SEO – but not via backlink services. I’d invest in deep on-page content around “how to...” + “best AI tools for...” queries. Use structured data (FAQ, BlogPosting schema) and internal linking from day one. That builds compounding authority.
🔸 $2,000 PH + Reddit + HackerNews prep – but organically. Don’t pay for upvotes or featured spots. Spend this budget on pre-launch engagement, commenting, and high-value posting (maybe via an existing launch community).
🔸 $2,000 content-driven paid traffic – X, Meta or Reddit ads only to blog-style landing pages with retargeting pixels. Skip homepage pushes at this stage.
🔸 $1,000 influencer micro-demo – ideally video content that explains why it matters, not just what it does.
🔸 $1,000 buffer – for whatever channel surprises you.
We’re currently running a live SEO experiment in a public contest (non-brand keyword from zero → page 1 with minimal spend). Results so far confirm: solid structure + 1–2 strategic signals beat paid authority links.
Let me know if you'd like to see more detail — happy to swap notes.
I will get a landing page that is high converting and I will get leads through them. I am a landing page designer and I can show you few of my works I have done with startups and agencies that are still live and accessible. Let me know if you want me to send them here
Thanks for your feedback, and yes please if you can share some of your landing page, I will highly appreciate !
Thanks for your reply Julien. I'm unable to send link here yet, but I have sent you a connection request on your LinkedIn handle. Kindly accept my request so I can send you few of my works. Thanks.
Are you sure you want to keep with SaaS? The AI coding revolution is changing all the metrics. I work for a big company and we are literally canceling every single SaaS product and just using AI to build our own custom version for just what we need.
how? If you don’t mind me asking. As far as I know, current AI tools are nowhere near enough to building an end to end product that is complicated enough to do what a normal and customized SaaS does. Unless its like simple and routine stuff.
i think everyone has to come to their own "ah ha" moment on just how much is possible with AI now. And getting better at exponential rate. Some people sneer at the term vibe coding. Some people embrace it. If you haven't seen a skilled engineer vibe something together in minutes you just don't know what you don't know...
The same way you get customers from your country it's the same as you get international ones. I think there are a lot more than 10 in your country and going wide (more countries) it's not a smart move. Adding more languages or customized features for them is a waste of time and money.
There are thousands of topics on Indie Hackers to get more customers. Start by searching here. You'll find even startups that help you going from 10 to 50 or even 100.
Once you have your inbound system in place, international customers will come :)
You can post on indiehackers dot com :)
thanks :)
This is a great position to be in — working product + real users + local proof = perfect launch runway.
I’ve seen a few people trip on Product Hunt launches because the funnel wasn’t dialled in — the bump in traffic exposed weak onboarding or conversion.
I’m currently building a few AI-generated funnel kits to help early-stage SaaS teams handle cold outreach, warm nurture flows, and micro-offer landers. Might be worth testing something like that to warm your audience before launch?
Happy to swap notes if helpful!
