I just finished version 1 of my ambiance platform (https://soundportals.live). It's like a Soundcloud but for ambiance, and other long-form audio for relaxation or work.
We have a similar ecosystem problem that eBay had, how do you get the users if the suppliers are not present and why would the suppliers be present if there are no users.
My idea so far is to talk with creators on youtube to see what they would need for the platform to be 10x better than youtube for their content, make those changes, then launch on PH while simultaneously getting some creators to post as well as potentially pay some of them to get their feet wet and hopefully find enough value to stay.
WYT?
Hey dude , just checked the platform out it looks great ! I love the concept , personally it's something i would use.
*On a personal note (just my opinion) : I think this would attract people who are in the whole ambient music (lo-fi and study-music sub-genres) , maybe have those 2 could categories pop first?
I see that categorization is in need. Thanks Schwebzy!
