How would you improve "friendship on demand" landing page?

I've just updated my landing page to better explain how the friendship-matching process works, and curious how much it makes sense.

You can check out the landing page here → https://hi5gang.com/

I would really appreciate your honest feedback. Shoutout to @tasaki for the first round of feedback!

    Seriously?

.. Main head "We've built a website"... Have you considered that the visitor to your website might have noticed that you have built a website??

.. Subhead "Hi5 is Troy based startup". So.. you start both main head and subhead by talking about yourself.

Recommendation: throw it all away. Don't talk about you. Image yourself in your customer's position and think what they want, then write about that.

I appreciate you taking the time to take a look Henri!

Funny enough, those two phrases came from customer discovery:

.. every person would pull up the app store and ask where they could find it, so I want to clarify that no-app needed (since the term "web app" is meaningless for regular people, they understood that everything happened on the website itself). Maybe there's a better way of phrasing this so it doesn't sound patronizing?

.. likewise, people felt excited to support a business from their own hometown. Since I'm only going to be acquiring users in the city of Troy for the next milestone, I believe this phrase helps a Troy-resident feel more comfortable participating in a service without any traction / testimonials. Totally agree that it sounds silly in the subhead , so just added that bit to the footer.

(p.s. love your music-player-slider idea of bugjail; very practical)

Great that you are doing customer discovery and got them from customers. Then you should just rewrite the same ideas in a customer-first way.

For example instead of saying "Hi5 is Troy based startup.." you could say "Designed for Troy, by Troy locals" etc.

Great. Then next is your main headline..

What is the real value you provide to your customers?

It might be "make new friends"? But because virtual friends are a thing, you should be clear that it is about real local friends, so something along "Meet new friends in Troy" or "Make new friends in Troy". And not much longer than that.

Then for getting people to actually sign-up, you should consider making the "interview" part optional, it sounds intimidating and time consuming.

Finally, you are Troy local website.. And have exactly ZERO images of Troy! Why not use a nice picture of an iconic Troy street as hero image? And seasonal, so now with christmas stuff, then spring is coming etc.

            Good luck
