How would you improve this landing page, IH? Please roast!

Hey IH,

I launched Airscale earlier this week and I'd love to get your feedbacks on the landing page.

https://airscale.io

I plan on adding a testimonial section in the coming weeks. Do you see anything else that's missing or could be improved?

Thanks for your help!

designer here :)) (pre-facing this with the fact that i'm not a growth marketer so i won't comment on copy)

    • love that the main image in the header is interactive! (can't tell if it's actually effective though because i don't really get what the product does since i'm not the target user)

    • visually, the page is kinda bland and there's no coherent colour scheme and it looks a bit generic

    • the sectioning of the pages is also poorly done, there's not enough visual differentiation between sections. try playing with larger paddings, different colours, different textures to help the eye differentiate

    • the biggest problem is there's way too much text and it makes it hard to basically digest anything on the page at a glance (you have a few seconds before someone just closes the tab). the benefits section is especially difficult to understand. the problem is that the images accompanying the text are basically images WITH text so the page feels like a text vomit. succinct copy and intentional imagery is really important (everytime we do design tests, know that humans are lazy and not bothered to read unless if they're highly motivated. no one knows about your product, and you're making the barrier for understanding even higher because of sheer text overwhelm). one exercise i always do is repeat to myself "is this text/component actually useful for the users?" because if everything is important, then nothing is important

if you have any q's feel free to dm me at @angehyc on twitter - have fun designing!

Thank you so much for the interest and taking the time to write such detailed feedbacks with tips.

There's no denying that there's not enough visual differentiation between sections haha. I'm going to tackle this in priority.

And I get the "text vomit" feeling - there's just so many details I want to include.. that's a common trap I guess. I think I need to replace the images with text with animated gif or visuals. I don't have the skills to create such things but I'll check out tools or freelancers to help.

Thanks again ! I knew - deep down - most of the things you outlined and I'm glad a real designer confirmed it

if you already knew it deep down then at least you know you can trust your gut and you're capable of developing taste and an eye for detail!

i find https://chroniclehq.com/ pretty good for putting a lot of info on a page - look at their layouts, the font size, the accompanying visuals etc. however, might be tricky to build if you're not FE or use to using framer components

if you want other inspo/help with the look and feel, i recommend:

        https://land-book.com/
        https://www.seesaw.website/
        https://godly.website/

take some time to try analyse websites you like and why. good design is actually very hard, you're doing well!

    Keep colours more specific

      Hello Noor

Thanks for the feedback. Do you mean using more colours in text elements?

I think there's too much text on the pages of this site, you might think I saw "Scale your outbound campaigns" first, but I'm not familiar with that word, so I looked at "Schedule a demo "and then I spent 10 seconds on it and I still didn't get what the site was about. I think you should put a short paragraph explaining what the site does, preferably with a picture. Because according to brain scientists, humans understand pictures much faster than they understand text.

Thank you for the feedback :). There's definitely a lot of words that are not common for folks not familiar with growth marketing and sales ops.

One question: did you access the LP on mobile ? or desktop ?

      1. 2

Desktop. Every element on the page is in the right place

          Thank you for the precision!
