We just shipped a UX tweak in FigForm that solves one of the most common "micro-pain" moments in any builder: the blank first screen.
When you create a new form and open the Design page, we now show a Starting Options modal with three paths:
Start from Scratch - a blank, Figma-like canvas for people who know exactly what they want
Use a Template - opens a template browser with previews and an "Apply" button to load the design onto your canvas
Start with AI - opens the editor with an AI chat panel so you can describe your form and get help with fields, structure, and copy
It's a small change, but it makes FigForm feel more intentional from the very first click and reduces "what do I do now?" moments for new users.
If you're building a product with any sort of editor or builder, this pattern might be worth stealing.
