Hey all,
My co-founder and I recently launched a startup - https://driftly.app. It’s a platform for no-code product tours. We worked hard to make it as intuitive as possible so that a non-technical SaaS owner can easily onboard their users. We’re working on a few distribution channels, but I’d love to hear your opinion.
How would you market Driftly?🤔
I took a look at your website—Great idea! Before talking distribution, I feel there is a mismatch or confusion at the messaging-audience level. For instance, your main USP appears to be the ease of integration of your no-code tool (it’s clear from the words you chose for your IH post, the testimonial on your website and the first 2 FAQs).
However, this USP is not reflected in your H1/title and subtitle. The no-code aspect is watered down because most of the pitch focuses on the benefit for your client’s users (the WOW part for instance) instead of focusing mostly on your client.
I hope this is helpful! Keep it up
Yo, Tarek! Joe here, the other co-founder of Driftly.
First, thanks so much for your comment here. Super helpful to think through this as the person responsible for website copy haha.
Ease of set up & use is one of the biggest factors people liked when I did a big review of competitor G2 reviews. So it's starting to come to the forefront of our messaging.
Here are my thoughts on why these concepts don't explicitly appear in the h1 right now:
We do a round of website edits regularly as we have more customer interviews and gather more user data. So I'm sure if you check on the website in the next few months, it will change multiple times. Definitely thinking about including more "ease of use" and "ease of implementation" more towards the top of the page but it just hadn't been done yet.
First, I would identify who is your target customer.
Nail that down. At the end of this research, you should know, at the very least:
With this information in hand:
For instance if pain point is:
# Increase conversion from free to paid by improving the user onboarding experience
## By using Driftly, you can generate product tours without writing any code. The process is simple and produces great results.
You can't market properly and adjust your message accordingly if you don't know who you're selling to.
Thanks for the detailed response.
We've already done a lot of these steps, but we seemed to have missed a few so this is a great resource!
@joehhoward - we've got some work to do ;)
Cool! 😎
Fb ads and better copy on your lander :)
How would you improve the copy on the landing page?
Basically...
The headline takes too long to be processed in the brain....
"Use no-code product tours to nudge users towards that WOW moment"
Make the headline straight forward, simple and attention grabbing....
Headline idea:
"Turn Ice Cold Leads into Life-Long Power Users.... in 5 min or LESS!"
"Turn BRAND NEW Users into Life-Long Power Users.... in 5 min or LESS!"
"Turn Ice Cold Leads into Life-Long Power Users.... in 5 min or LESS!"
"Discover The Fastest Way To Turn A BRAND NEW Users into Life-Long Power Users... and YES! Takes Less Than 5 mins!"
This are just some ideas... but it would instantly increase your conversion rate...
Change button text to.... Something like...
"YES! Show Me How!"
"Show Me How It Works"
"Surprise Me!"
anyways....
wish you guys best success :)
Bye

That’s all I have to say. Wow!
Thank you very much!
