New indie hacker in the community. I have quite good SEO knowledge and have previously acquired more than 60K traffic/per month and earned over $20K for one of my blog projects.
As SEO takes time and I don't have any audience on social media, I was confused about how to market my product.
Then I thought, let's ask the expert.
So, how would you market your product from day 1 if you didn't have any social media followers?
Hi there, another newbie here but I have some experience in marketing.
The way I see it is you need to look at social media as a whole new ball game.
Just like any marketing funnel, social media typically consists of top funnel for followers/subscribers and mid funnel for people who engage with your content and those are the 2 things that you should focus on.
Given that you're already getting good traffic for your content, that shows that there is demand for people to go through your content and gives you an opportunity to repurpose them for your social media content strategy.
With that, the next question is how about the upper funnel? That's the hardest part and personally the best way I've seen to do this in today's world is either by luck or through sheer hardwork of increasing your presence by following and engaging with others, commenting or responding to others, etc. Just make sure you do it with accounts that are small enough to notice you and relevant enough to engage with your own content.
Thanks for the advice. I would definitely try to follow these advice.
