How would you monetize a job listing/aggregator website?
Hey guys, as I posted before, I'm with the PyJobs.xyz mvp published, but I would like to know what would you suggest as a monetizing strategy?
I’m thinking about this 2 strategies:
- paid newsletter regarding new jobs posted on the website
- paid premium jobs (like seen on remote ok)
Hi, we've run a profitable niche job board for a long time over at https://environmentjob.co.uk. My advice would be:
Niche job boards are a long slog - but a nice business to be in when they get traction.
I have publish one in begin of February https://remoteindex.io no monetization yet I was also considering in future insert some sort of pay to be best visible feature
Offer top placement for 1-3 premium listings per page.
I monetize my job listing sites with Adsense.
Interested to learn if paid newsletter works.
Too much traffic for low money. Doesnt worth!
This is why I am interested to know how paid newsletters and paid job ads work. I have traffic but unable to find paid employers / recruiters yet.

PyJobs is also developed in Django! Which frontend framework and tips you have used/to give?
