How would you monetize a site where the main content is push notifications?
I'm making a website that allows users to subscribe and be notified with a push notification. There's no incentive for the user to come back to the site until the push notification goes out, so display ads don't seem like it would be effective.
Is there a way to monetize the push notification itself? Push notification ads? Wouldn't people be annoyed with an ad being sent through push notifications?
What are your thoughts?
Have them pay a subscription price for this notification service?
Or, a premium subscription to the blog that features push notifications? I apologize, I’m making suggestions without knowing what exactly your product is.
