How you can gain hundreds of Twitter followers in days

As a co-founder of Hypefury and a Twitter fan, I grew my account to over 27K+ followers and Hypefury's account to 50K+ followers.
In this process, I learned that growing on Twitter is a skill.
Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned user, this post will give you some actionable strategies to unleash your Twitter potential and achieve remarkable growth.

Here are four fundamentals you need to master👇
1. Optimize Your Profile for Success
Your Twitter profile is your landing page.
- Have a clear bio (what you do + who you are doing it for)
- Have a simple header
- Have a professional Profile Pic
- Pinned tweet showing your expertise
Here's mine as an example:
This will convert visitors to followers.
Now let's look at how we can get those visitors:
2. Craft Magnetic Tweets:
You should post 3 types of tweets daily:
a. Niche Specific (shows authority)
b. Engagement Friendly (drives eyeballs)
c. Personal thoughts (connects with followers)
Here's an example of a niche-specific tweet (and it drives eyeballs!).
3. Engagement - The secret ingredient
Twitter is a social platform and it rewards people who engage with others and provide valuable insights.
- Make a list of 30 people in your niche
- Turn on post notifications for them
- Comment something insightful
- Do this 20-30 times a day
Within days, you'll see results.
Make sure you follow people with big audiences. At least 10k followers and who get good (consistent) engagement on their tweets.
You can use a tool like Blackmagic or Hypefury to easily engage with others.
Now the most important part 👇
4. The Power of Consistency
Twitter rewards consistent activity.
- Show up daily
- Tweet regularly
- Engage with people
- Try to take fewer days off

Is it possible to write 30 comments a day and have time for your own startup?
Its a long process. Buidling up slowly but steadily and consistently.
Well, I have a 7-figure business these days. It's still young. 3 years. So you could say it's still a startup. And I manage to write quite a few comments a day.
I need to work on my consistency, though.
But I would turn it around.
If you want your startup to grow, building in public is the best way.
So you need to comment 30 times a day as part of running the startup. Otherwise you'll (or other beginner indiehackers) probably be running a hobby project vs making real money.

It's the only way to gain some followers as Twitter doesn't have a (real) discoverability algo as TikTok for example)
Is the only way to get a tweet to blow up is to have an initial boost of likes from the people who follow you, so that algo gets your tweet to other people's feeds?
