Great product but as always do your own research.
I tried it last year and my account got banned because the the DM were reported as spam. So it can happen.
If you are going down this road, i recommend you do not use your main reddit account to run the campaigns.

Howitzer is really improved since last year. In this version, we provide Reddit accounts for you so you won't have to bother with connecting your own accounts.
You just sign in, and start working - no need for Reddit accounts :)
You are correct that I haven't used your product recently due to the fact that my account got banned last time I used it. So forgive me for not wanting to go through that again.
The fact of the matter is that at the time, if you wanted to use this product you had to connect a Reddit account and I remember distinctively that you said on your homepage and/or in the FAQ that there was no risk or very little risk of the account being banned.
Obviously this is not something I necessarily believed in so I created a temporary account to use exclusively for this product.
And I was right as it turns out that this temp account was banned after just using the product for a few days. That happened while never sending more than the normal amount of messages per day. So its not like I was trying to send 1000s of messages each day, we are talking about a few dozens a day maximum.
In any case, If that has been fixed then that's great to hear, but in case it had not been fixed, then I felt like people should know about the potential downsides of using your product.
And for the record I would have said the same thing if somebody had asked about blasting a million emails to random email addresses. I would have warned people that abusing a system in such a way can lead to bad consequences.
So to conclude this long message, this was not a personal attack nor a comment in bad faith. It was feedback on my experience with your product and a legitimate warning.

You were probably using Howitzer a way back, where Reddit was pretty much "unlimited".
We started running Howitzer at the end of March 2021, and we got our first account suspended at the end of May 2021. We stated that your account can get suspended ONLY if it gets reported by other Redditor, and that was the case.
Since then, Reddit's bot detection system has been improved a lot, and sending messages like previously is pretty much not doable.
We found a workaround, and we started sending the messages through our own high-karma accounts, so the tool won't risk other people's accounts.
Right now, if a Reddit account gets suspended, we immediately replace it in the background, and you continue as if nothing happened, without risking your own accounts.
