How's your ideas validation journey ?

I'm thinking recently about my process on how validate ideas, gather cues from web or communities, getting all the stuff organized.

For example, for every project idea I build a doc describing idea in few words, a longer description and a set of links. These links are something related to my idea, something to be inspired, and maybe competitors.

Do you keep track other cue other than links and text ?
