HowToDB – The AI Teammate That Builds for You, Not Just Talks

I’m Tri Nguyen, and I’m building HowToDB – an AI teammate that doesn’t just chat, but actually executes your creative ideas and delivers real, tangible results.
The problem I noticed
A lot of people go to ChatGPT with prompts like:
“I want to create a TikTok channel teaching AI without showing my face.”
What they get: a messy list of suggestions they still have to manually turn into a plan — write scripts, pick tools, record or render video, schedule posts...
I thought: “Why not make an app that turns this into a clear action pipeline, produces real outputs (video, checklist, PDF/Notion export), and can be reused or edited?”
How HowToDB works
Enter your goal – e.g. “Create a faceless AI teaching TikTok channel”
The platform uses GPT to break it into a step-by-step pipeline (naming, scripting, generating images/voice, assembling video, writing captions…)
Each step is an “actor” with clear metadata – the app knows exactly what it is, what output it needs, and how to render it
Finally: the app delivers a real product (sample video, Notion plan, PDF checklist, or YouTube-ready script)
Why I’m sharing this
To connect with other AI/creator bootstrappers.
To introduce a framework I’m exploring: DCI (Data-Context-Interaction) — where each step knows its role in the pipeline.
