• Create a sales sheet for service offering.
• Do follow-up discovery call.
• Schedule next discovery call about process/project.
• Buy domain
• Do lead gen.
• Edit consulting landing page copy again.

TODAY

1. Edit sales resume.
2. Meet with a career coach about my resume.
3. Set up a temporary landing page.
4. Draft warm pitch messages.
5. Attend the Venture for America Mentor event.

EPIC UPDATE
Get Myself disconnected from the day job

I'll give a proper retro for the month, but at this point progress on the remaining two epic items is at a full stop. This whole work full time while basically doing full time client work on the side has eaten all my time.

YESTERDAY:

• Complete Milestone 1 for new Client (milestone items approved this morning #success)
• try not to get fired before my last day (not sure I care but I was at least successful:P)

TODAY:

• Day job, probably ask to take the last 3 days as half days
• Try to prototype a change to a screen for client, he has a go-nogo mtg with first very interested customer tomorrow and it would be a nice improvement. I'm trying to pivot that contract into ownership. He needs more dev than he's willing to pay for I think, which means I can probably leverage some financial risk away from him if he'll play ball. Dead simple product but it needs dev time that he can't afford to shoulder for the 3 months it'll take to spin up. Maybe sounds greedy, but I guy's gotta eat and this product needs to grow.

02 Accomplished Yesterday

• 2 customer conversations!
• Shipped research summary blog post on Virtualness & Knowledge -- super interesting paper, worth a read if you'd like to learn how knowledge moves through orgs
• Fixed a bug with my Ghost config where it was using my ec2 instance address instead of my domain name for post links

03 Accomplishing Today

• Read / take notes on research paper about remote org change management
• Review my notes from the customer conversations and figure out how to iterate my question set for the next three interviews
• Think through strategy for building subs on my blog

Other Notes
The customer conversations were super enlightening. I think communication overload is indeed a problem, but I'm not sure if it's a top-tier problem. I'm going to feel more comfortable on making a go / no-go decision after a few more conversations. I have a feeling there will be a segment (~ >25 emps) where it becomes a top-tier problem, but so far have only talked to <25 emp companies.
