Hunted by Ryan Hoover! 😱 #4 Product of the Day on ProductHunt

https://www.flock.network

I just launched a side-project https://www.flock.network two weeks ago while working on my main project. It's a way for Twitter power users (with >1k+ friends or followers) to search their network for investors, recruiting leads, or just interesting people to meet. The v1 I launched with was built in roughly two weeks as something I needed when traveling to other cities– though I've been upgrading it almost every day since launch.

Last week it was (to my surprise) hunted by Ryan Hoover, the CEO of Product Hunt! We closed out at the #4 Product of the Day. https://www.producthunt.com/posts/flock-11

I'm not ready to share numbers yet, but the outpouring of support and people messaging me saying they've been waiting for a tool like this has been tremendous and more than I could have expected. I'll keep you all updated on how it goes as I keep building this out– next up is a limited free trial tier and more.

Nice copy and image demo. I was able to tell exactly what your service was in 3 seconds.

    Great idea ! Good job

Rad idea - can't tell you how often I follow someone in a specific industry and they end up lost in the people I follow...

Awesome Aaron! I was wondering... have you got an idea as of how Did Ryan got to know about your service ? Have you been featured in some community / publication ? If so would you mind sharing this ?

Great stuff! I can see this being extremely useful.

But what if Twitter adds this functionality themselves?

Yeah– I made this because this is actually something I really wanted them to add. If they do, that's OK! I have a lot of things I wish Twitter did, and I'll use Flock as a place where I can build those ideas out. Maybe it'll give them some pressure to do it too. :)

        Interesting approach!

Or maybe they won't build all these features and you guys might go big!
