From my experience working with your partner is at your own risk. Either it's going to be wonderful or either you will leave each other so know him/her correctly ;) !
I see a lot of husband/wife teams like this one who are indiehackers. It seems like a potential disaster to work with one's partner on a project, but if it works out I'd have no doubt it makes the relationship stronger. Still, it doesn't seem worth risking a marriage just over the chance to indie-hacker. I'd rather go at it alone then potentially bring my partner into the mix and lose my idea my partner.
The couple says they are making it work but strictly working on the weekdays and leaving the weekends to themselves...
And unsurprisingly, one is focused on the biz dev while the other works on the product. The two functions aren't really connected, so there isn't much of an opportunity for the couple to get angry at one another...or atleast that's what I'd bet.
