I accidentally deleted the thing I was trying to sell....what I learned

I launched a course and website a few weeks ago, I've been working on driving traffic to the website and getting my first sale.

Sometimes, we get so deep in the weeds, we don't take a step back and think about fires we might need to put out :)

I'm hosting the course on GumRoad. I realized I made a typo and needed to update the pdf for the users. Well, instead of editing I accidentally deleted the course from my products....whoops.

What I learned?

I think it's important to have your bases covered when launching something new. What if the site goes down? What if a user has an issue? Fixing a typo etc..

I don't think we should go crazy but I think basic "preventative" measures are important to map out. When you're working on something by yourself and every minute counts, it's really not a good use of time to re-upload your product to gumroad...though, it's not the worst thing that could happen. Thankfully, I didn't have any customers yet, but I wanted to reflect and share.

Thanks
