I've been building Parsley (parsley.id) solo for the past few months and wanted to introduce myself here - and get your honest feedback.
The problem I kept running into
I spent years in B2B sales, and the pattern was always the same: send the cold email or LinkedIn message, and if you ever get a reply, you walk into the first call with limited info re their requirements. All the intent is locked up in their head until you've already burned the call dragging it out of them.
What I built
You add a Parsley link to your LinkedIn Featured section - the one piece of profile real estate everyone has and almost nobody uses - then drop the same link in your cold emails, InMails and signature. When a prospect clicks, they talk to an AI presales agent trained on your own sales docs. It answers their real questions, 24/7, in your material's words.
The part I actually care about: every conversation quietly reveals what that prospect wants. The topics they dig into, the buying signals under the questions - it lands in your CRM (Attio, HubSpot, whatever you use) as first-party intent, so before the first call you already know what they explored and what to lead with. Nobody gets interrogated; it's inferred from a normal conversation.
It runs on Google Gemini with retrieval over your uploaded docs, so the answers are grounded in what you gave it rather than made up.
Where things stand
Live at parsley.id
Free to start: profile, links and contact capture are free forever; the AI is usage-based - 10 cents a conversation, first 100 on me
Solo founder, bootstrapped
Early days - actively looking for founders and B2B sellers doing their own outbound to try it
Tech stack for the curious: Next.js, TypeScript, Firebase, Tailwind, Vercel. The agent runs on Gemini with RAG over uploaded knowledge docs.
What I'd love to hear from you
If you do your own outbound: would you actually put a link like this on your LinkedIn profile? What would make you trust the answers enough to share it with a real prospect? And if you've tried something in this space, what made it stick or not?
And if you're running B2B outbound and want to try it, happy to help you get up and running.
What stood out to me wasn't the AI agent.
It was the idea that a prospect might reveal things to a system that they wouldn't reveal in a conversation.
Whether that's true or not feels surprisingly consequential.
A lot of assumptions seem to sit on top of it.
