I’ve been building a small career product with AI mentors (resume help, interview prep, decision support, etc.).
One consistent piece of friction: people were still jumping between LinkedIn, Indeed, Arc, RemoteOK, spreadsheets, and the chat just to look for jobs.
So this week I shipped the ability to do a big part of the job hunt directly from our Discord.
What it does right now:
Pulls current market volume (seeing ~7k full-stack and ~3k remote frontend roles)
Shows salary ranges across a few boards
Surfaces roles that look active
Gives direct links
Basic filters (remote/hybrid/on-site, job type)
Mentors are in the same place if someone wants help while hunting
It’s still early and a bit rough, but the goal is to keep the actual hunting workflow in one place instead of making people context-switch constantly.

Happy to hear feedback, especially from anyone who’s built something similar or tried putting real workflows inside Discord.
