I am looking for a partner from US/Canada/EU - part-time work.

Hi, My name is Lee Bin. I am a senior software developer with 9 years of experience and am currently based in Hong Kong. My background includes AI architecture, software engineering, and full-stack development.

I would like to discuss a potential partnership opportunity.

My idea is that we work together as partners to pursue remote opportunities with U.S. companies through platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other job boards. We would combine our strengths to create a successful collaboration.

I would primarily focus on technical responsibilities, including software development, solution architecture, project delivery, and job applications. You would focus on client communications, interviews, meetings, and relationship management. We would support each other throughout the process and work together to ensure successful project outcomes.

Since you are a native English speaker, I believe you would have a natural advantage in communicating with clients and employers. I would provide technical support, interview preparation, and assistance whenever needed. We can also leverage modern AI tools to improve our efficiency and productivity.

For simplicity, payments could be received through your account and then shared equally between us, with profits split fairly on a 50/50 basis.

My goal is to build a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership where we each contribute our strengths and share both the responsibilities and rewards.

Of course, I completely understand if this is not something you would be interested in or comfortable with. I simply wanted to present the idea and hear your thoughts.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards

    • if you're willing to connect.
You can also DM me. I've got a crazy, complex idea and i need a technical person smoothen the loose edges. It has been prototyped already.
i'm a product manager and it'd be nice to connect with a senior dev with a lot of experience.

    Hi Lee,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm interested in learning more.
I like the partnership idea. Before moving forward, I'd like to know if you've done this before, how you plan to get clients, and how we'd handle contracts, payments, and responsibilities.
If everything looks good, I'd be happy to discuss it further.

Your post sounds great , though I’m not looking for that kind of partnership. I’m a founder with a built product, and I’m exploring technical collaboration around my real‑time social platform. If your experience aligns in that direction, happy to chat.

Thanks for reaching out. I’m building CHAToora , a real‑time social platform with live interest based chatrooms, focused on genuine connection. I can share more about the product here. If your background includes real‑time systems or trust/safety work, feel free to tell me a bit about your experience.

A few practical tips from someone who has hired 4 part-time partners from 3 continents: (1) define the time zone overlap you need in hours, not just "must be EU/US"—3 hours of overlap is non-negotiable for async work, 5+ for part-time. (2) pay in USD even if you are not US-based—it is the lingua franca. (3) start with a 2-week paid trial, not equity-only, to test the working relationship. (4) the partner is usually easier to find than the right partner—interview 5+ before picking. Curious what kind of partnership you have in mind—technical co-founder, marketing, or something else? That changes the search channels a lot.

1)I can work based on EU/US timezone, my working timezone and hours will be flexible.
2)And I can get paid via bank or crypto. also flexible
      3) Yes. it would be a good tip.
      4) yes, it's a good catch
