I am starting an email automation tool. Thoughts?

I am still in the brainstorming/validation process and I would like to have your thoughts on one idea.
Main problem: As IH, one of the most important acquisition channel is cold email. You need to manually found contacts and more or less spam them with your pre-defined cold email.
Solution:
- Auto-detect, parse and save email contact information from a web page (probably with a chrome extension).
- Automate the emailing process by sending to these parsed contacts a templated email.
What do you thing of this idea? Can it help you in your daily IH life?

I like the idea. I definitely have gone through all sorts of trouble to find emails of leads.
Check out the Snov.io Chrome Extension: https://snov.io/extension. Maybe there are places where it's inadequate and you can improve on it.
I love the idea of automation. Start with an MVP. You’ll learn a lot from users.
Somethings to consider is that you need at least 5 touch points to convert a cold contact. This means that you really need a drip campaign with tracking if opened so you don’t keep sending emails. Also a template needs to include several data points such as company, name, etc so can somewhat personalize.
