When buyers ask AI for recommendations, your competitors get the answer. I scanned 10 real SaaS products across all 4 major AI models with the questions buyers actually ask.
The results:
7 out of 10 were invisible in most buying conversations
3 were actively misclassified (wrong category entirely)
AI confused 4 products with their competitors
Only 1 was accurately described across all 4 models
The most common problem: AI simply doesn't know you exist. The second most common: it thinks you're something you're not. One CSV import widget got classified as "an ETL pipeline tool." A lightweight dev tool got described using enterprise competitor features.
What I built
I'm Gissur, building Bersyn in Iceland. It scans ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini with real buyer questions, then tells you exactly what's wrong — are you misclassified, omitted, generic, or confused with a competitor? Then it generates corrective content targeting the specific gaps.
The internal test
I tested it on our own product (ImportKit, a CSV import widget):
Before: 0.7/10 — invisible in 7 of 8 buying conversations, misclassified as ETL tool
After 10 days: 3.3/10 — present in 5 of 8 conversations, category corrected, core capabilities recognized by 3 of 4 AI surfaces
What we published: 2 comparison articles, 1 technical docs page, 1 README update
Every piece of content was generated by Bersyn, targeting a specific gap identified by a specific scan.
