I bootstrapped a Shopify app to $25K MRR in less than a year! AMA

I bootstrapped a Shopify App! We have more and more Shopify websites so there are a lot of opportunities on the app store to create apps that will change merchants' life!

In May 2020, I was still a student, I started a Shopify App WideBundle and in less than a year I took it from 0 to 2000 users (which is something like $25,000 MRR)

I never used any paid ads and it was a complete snowball since the start!
Here are 6 things I learned along the way:

• You don’t have to be the best at developing or marketing to build a successful Shopify app

• Focusing on a specific problem is the best way to start in a crowded marketplace

• Your customer support needs to be your first feature to grow a Shopify App

• Focusing on Acquisition with a Shopify App is the biggest mistake you can make when starting

• Tracking your data and talking to your customers = easy growth

• Your pricing and churn are super important! You can spend a lot on the acquisition, but if your activation and retention are low, you'll lose everything.

I've written a complete article on that that I wanted to write for a loooong time, and if you guys are interested you can read it here:
