I built 43+ PDF tools that keep your files on your device.

No uploads, no signup, no installation - private PDF processing directly in your browser.

built 1into1 PDF because I didn’t like the normal workflow of online PDF tools: upload a private document to someone else’s server, wait for it to process, then download it again.

I wanted the opposite.

Your files. Your device.

1into1 PDF is a privacy-first, local-first suite with 43+ PDF and document tools. Core workflows run directly in your browser, so your documents stay on your device instead of being uploaded to a processing server.

What makes it different:

  • 100% private for core local workflows — files stay on your device

  • No signup required to start using the core tools

  • No software installation — it runs in the browser and can also be installed as a PWA

  • Offline-capable — many workflows continue working after the app and required resources have loaded

  • Lightning-fast local processing — no upload → process → download cycle for core tools

  • 43+ tools in one place

  • Specialist workflows, not just basic merge/split: OCR, permanent redaction, PII & secrets detection, Bates numbering, PDF sanitization, bank-statement extraction, PDF-to-Markdown for AI/LLM workflows, N-Up, booklet creation, exact-size compression and more

  • Larger-file Pro support — up to 150 MB on mobile/tablet, with files beyond 150 MB supported on desktop based on device capacity

The free version starts without an account. Users who sign in get additional free capacity, while Pro is for larger workloads.

The main idea is simple:

Most online PDF tools are upload-first. 1into1 PDF is device-first.

I’d love feedback from other builders on the positioning, product experience, and which workflow you think is most valuable.
