Hey everyone 👋
I’m Carson, and after 6 months of building, I just launched Korelyy Tools — a collection of 1500+ online tools for everyday use.
🎯 The problem I was solving
Every time I needed a simple tool:
- "Just compress this one image" → 90% of sites ask you to sign up, put a watermark, or show 5 popups before you can download
- "Convert this timestamp" → half the sites are dead, the other half are covered in ads that cover the entire screen
- I just want the tool to work, fast, no nonsense
So I built the site I wanted to use myself.
✨ What you get
- 1500+ tools → image processing, text conversion, developer utilities, productivity, AI writing, PDF tools, and hundreds more
- Everything runs in your browser → files never leave your computer, faster and more private
- No downloads, no signups, no watermarks → use it right now, zero friction
- 6 languages → English, 中文, Español, Français, हिंदी, العربية
- Progressive Web App → install it on your phone like a native app
💰 Business model
Right now everything is free, I’m focused on growing traffic. Planning to add freemium later: core tools stay free, advanced AI features will be paid ($3/month - $9/lifetime).
Current stats (28 days):
- 230 active users
- ~1,200 pageviews
- Still working on SEO to get more organic traffic (just fixed a bunch of duplicate content issues this week)
📝 What I learned building this
-
Focus on what you control → I started with 1500 tools, but realized most of them are just links to other sites. Now I’m slowly building every tool myself, one by one. This is better for SEO and better for users.
-
Speed > features → a 2 second load time beats a 5 second load time with 10 extra features no one uses.
-
Mobile first → 60%+ of my traffic is already mobile, every tool has to work perfectly on phones.
🤔 I’d love your feedback
- What’s the one feature you wish every tool site had that I’m missing?
- Should I keep all core tools free forever, or put some behind a paywall?
- Any tips for getting the first 1,000 users when you’re bootstrapping?

The decision to have tools run entirely in the browser stood out to me.
For utility sites, removing friction and protecting privacy can be a stronger differentiator than simply having the largest collection of tools. The challenge will be making people remember your site the next time they need one.
