I built a $5 Mac app that tells you when someone is standing behind you

I work in an open office and got tired of the panic alt+tab every time someone walked up behind me while I was reading something private.

So I built Peeker. It uses your Mac's webcam to detect when someone enters your peripheral, then shows a quiet live preview in the corner of your screen.

No data leaves your Mac. Nothing is saved or shared. It runs from the menu bar and hides during screen sharing. $5 one time, works on every Mac you own.

Would love to hear your thoughts: https://getpeeker.com
