I built a AI risk check tool after seeing teams accidentally ship risky AI

Over the last year, I kept seeing the same thing happen inside companies:

Teams ship AI features fast…
Then 3–6 months later someone asks:

• “Are we compliant with NIST / EU AI Act?”
• “Do we have any AI governance?”
• “Should legal be involved?”

And the honest answer is usually: we don’t know.

Not because teams don’t care — but because AI governance feels huge, vague and enterprise-only.

So I built something small and practical:

It’s a free, 5-minute AI risk triage tool. No signup. No email. No sales call.

You answer a short set of questions and it gives you a quick snapshot of where you stand against:

• NIST AI Risk Management Framework
• EU AI Act risk expectations

This isn’t a full compliance product. It’s the “should we be worried?” tool.

I’d love feedback from other builders:

• Is this useful or pointless?
• What questions should be added?
• Would you ever run this on your product?

Thanks!

Congrats on the launch, looks solid. How are you currently thinking about acquiring early users and gathering feedback?

Thanks for the comment. I do not have a plan yet for that. This was my first public post here. Reaching out in right forums on LinkedIn and Reddit are probably next. I do see you help in marketing.

Reddit and LinkedIn are excellent platforms for attracting early users and gathering feedback. I assist founders like you in developing straightforward marketing strategies on these platforms to get noticed and begin meaningful conversations with potential users, without appearing overly aggressive.

If you're interested, I can create a brief plan that outlines how you can start engaging users in the next couple of weeks. I offer this service on Fiverr, making it quick and actionable. Let me know if you would like me to share the link to get started!
