I built a better JPEGmini – 90% compression, offline

I've been working on an image compression algorithm for 2 years as a solo developer. The result is ETK Image Compressor Pro.

What it does:

Reduces JPEG size by up to 90% while keeping quality higher than JPEGmini Pro (verified with SSIM tests). Works completely offline, handles files up to 1GB.

Current status:

· Free version available

· Platforms: Windows now, Mac/Linux in 2 weeks

What's working:

· First 100 users came from Reddit and Quora

· Just launched on Gumroad
