I kept running into the same problem while browsing — I’d open one link, then another, and suddenly I had 30–50 tabs and zero context. Developers or researchers can get me.
Everything turned into tab chaos.
So I built GoPeek.
It’s a browser extension that lets you hold Shift (or alt/ctrl) and hover any link to open it in a live, interactive mini-browser window directly on the current page instead of creating a new tab.
Instead of:
open tab → switch → lose context → repeat
You just:
hover → continue
It also supports:
multiple live “Peeks” at once
sidebar split view
floating bubble mode for minimised pages
Here’s a short demo:

It’s live on Edge Add-ons now: 🔗 https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/gopeek/ffaeanmhghmohbponokefmbhfkkomnmk
I am very eager for feedback from users here, especially around UX and if you would like to have some other features in it. I’m still iterating on it, so honest opinions are super helpful.
