Hey everyone đź‘‹
I wanted to share a small side project that turned into something unexpectedly viral.
It’s called Numbrrrs — a clean, iOS-style calculator that secretly judges your math.
It looks normal… until you type something cursed like 69, 4200, or 55378008, and it gently roasts you with a pop-up like “Still funny. Still 12.”
Then it tracks your habits over time and gives you a Calc’d Wrapped — a yearly recap of your most ridiculous calculations.
It’s simple, stupid, and somehow feels alive.
I’ve built a lot of serious tools (compliance platforms, productivity apps, SaaS-y stuff).
But I realized: everything I use daily is either trying to sell me a subscription or “optimize” me.
So I decided to build something completely pointless — and make it beautiful.
Numbrrrs became that — a product that makes you smile at the most boring part of your phone.
Minimal iOS-style calculator
Hidden Easter eggs (50+ number combos that trigger messages)
Achievements and subtle animations
A yearly “Calc’d Wrapped” that shows your math stats, stupidest moments, and streaks
Absolutely no ads, no tracking — everything runs locally
We first dropped it quietly on Product Hunt and people loved the tone.
It’s clean enough to look like Apple made it, but self-aware enough to belong on TikTok.
We’re now planning the 2.0 launch with a new Wrapped feature and even more Easter eggs.
We kept it fun and fair — one-time premium unlock or lifetime for €9.99.
We also do a PH code for lifetime users: PHLAUNCH → numbrrrs.app/lifetime
It’s not about chasing MRR — it’s about testing if micro-humor + high design = retention.
The line between “toy” and “tool” is getting blurry.
People love products that don’t just work — they react.
If you can make someone smile with a calculator, you can build emotion into anything.
