Every app I tried to feel calmer made me feel worse.
Streaks I kept breaking. Notifications pulling me back in. Scores turning stillness into a performance.
So I built the opposite.
Sakin is a quiet space to sit with your values. You pick 5 values, discover your path — The Stoic, The Peaceful, The Contemplative — and just sit. A timer, a daily anchor question, a private journal. Nothing more.
No gamification. No manipulation. When the session ends it lets you go.
Built it alone. Launched it today.
Would love honest feedback from this community.

I'd be careful with one thing.
A lot of people will agree with "no streaks, no notifications, no guilt."
The harder question is whether the thing people admire is the same thing they eventually choose.
That's one of those decisions that can quietly shape the whole product.
I wouldn't make that call casually in a thread.
Thank you for the honest perspective — that's exactly the kind of feedback I was hoping for.
Since you've thought about this carefully, I'd genuinely love your take — what would you add or change in Sakin to make it something people don't just admire but actually return to?
No pressure, just curious what you see that I might be missing.
Possibly, but I'd be careful answering that casually.
The useful part isn't what I'd add or change.
It's the decision underneath that question.
I wouldn't unpack that properly in a thread.
If you'd like the tighter version, drop your email and I'll put it together properly.
Really appreciate that — here's my email: bxbzhaksvsm[@]gmail[.com]
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts properly. 🙏
Sent you a note by email.
I think the underlying decision matters more than any individual feature discussion.
Small update — Sakin now has 30 daily anchor questions that rotate every 24 hours. A different question waiting for you each day for a full month. No notifications. It's just there when you arrive.
