I built a calm car maintenance app after realizing I was lying to myself

I’ve owned cars my whole life and always thought I was “good” at maintenance.

Then I tried to list everything I’d done to one car over 6 years.

I couldn’t.

Some records were in email.

Some were on paper.

Some were just “I think I did that?”

When it came time to sell, that gap really showed.

So I built Carworthy — a calm, no-BS car maintenance tracker focused on:

• a simple “what’s next” view

• a full maintenance timeline

• fast setup

• tracking beyond oil changes

Early surprises:

• people want clarity, not more reminders

• guessing about maintenance is stressful

• timelines matter more than checklists

• resale value came up a lot

iOS app is live. Built solo with SwiftUI + Firebase.

Currently free while I learn what actually matters.
