Hey Indie Hackers đź‘‹
I'm Derrick, a solo developer based in Nairobi, Kenya.
After watching content agencies struggle with the same problem over and over — too many tools, too much chaos before a single video gets filmed — I decided to build the solution.
THE PROBLEM
Agencies managing TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts for multiple clients were juggling:
- Google Docs for client briefs
- Notion for content ideas
- Spreadsheets for calendars
- Email threads for script feedback
- Performance data nowhere near any of it
The filming and editing wasn't the hard part. The thinking before the camera was.
THE SOLUTION
ContentBunker owns the full pre-production pipeline:
→ Add a client (niche, audience, tone, platforms)
→ Generate 20+ tailored ideas in seconds with AI
→ Turn the best ideas into full production-ready scripts
→ Schedule on a content calendar
→ Track performance per post
THE NUMBERS (honest)
- Built solo
- Launched June 2026
- Revenue: $0 (just launched, building in public)
THE NAIROBI ANGLE
Building from Nairobi means I'm targeting a market most SaaS tools ignore. East African content agencies are growing fast — and no tool is built specifically for them.
ContentBunker is.14-day free trial at contentbunker.com — no card required.
Would love honest feedback from this community.
What would make this more useful for your workflow?
This is a solid niche, especially because you’re not trying to help creators make random content. You’re solving the messy agency layer before filming starts.
The phrase I’d be careful with is “content ops platform.” It is accurate, but it may sound too broad for a newly launched product.
The sharper promise is probably closer to:
“Turn client briefs into short-form video ideas, scripts, and calendars without the pre-production chaos.”
That speaks more directly to the agency pain.
I’d also be careful not to target every content agency yet. The strongest first users are probably small short-form agencies managing 3 to 10 clients, where the founder is still personally handling ideas, scripts, calendars, and client feedback.
That person feels the chaos every week.
Drop your email and I’ll send over a tighter version. I think the useful part is mapping the first agency segment, landing page promise, and the quickest path to get the first few serious trials.
Really appreciate this; the "content ops platform" observation is spot on, I've been wrestling with that framing.
The ICP focus on 3-10 client agencies where the founder is still hands-on is exactly who I'm seeing respond best.
You can reach me at "support [at] contentbunker [dot] com". I would genuinely value the input.
Thanks again.
Just sent you a note.
Kept it focused on the agency positioning, the 3 to 10 client ICP, and how to make ContentBunker feel like a must-test tool for teams already dealing with pre-production chaos.
