I Built a Database in 2 Hours that Made me $10,385

I created a database to help startups launch their product and spread the word on their launch day.

The database is; 500+ Places to promote your startup

Link: datanerd.gumroad.com/l/jbpoy/

I offered them an upsell where I submit to all these places on their behalf since most founders and busy and don’t have time to submit themselves.

My upsell: https://datanerd.gumroad.com/l/wwylp?layout=profile

If you want to learn on how to make money on Gumroad you can reach out to me

FYI - The link on the page after the sentence "I will manually submit your startup to over 100 directorie" is broken

    ---

    147 downloads * 165 ratings = $24,255

I thought Gumroad only allow to rate if you make a purchase.

    ---

Are you also getting paid for the Featured Resources?

You can give yourself a 100% discount code, use it on another account and upvote the poop out of your own product. I don't know if the 100% discount code still counts as a 'download'.

I don't use Gumroad. But it would make sense that a product has more downloads than rating I would say.

Great idea for a service Kate!

Would a startup that's in the ideation phase, or mockup phase get value out of this service? Or do you think it's best to wait until you reach MVP?

    That's a great idea

Good stuff! As the list grows do you still automatically submit?

Hi Kate, this is really cool thanks for sharing. Might look into this down the line.

Great idea! A lot of these places require accounts though e.g.Product Hunt Do you just use your own or ask for the users?
